Tom Swartjes brings a wealth of experience to DeFi Capital. Tom graduated with a Masters of Law, specializing in intellectual property, ICT and blockchain technology. After graduating Tom set out to apply this knowledge by co-founding multiple businesses within the digital space. Most notably Innovation Block, an investment and consulting firm focusing on the blockchain and cryptocurrency landscape. This included giving courses on blockchain technology, consulting businesses looking to enter the space, and directly investing in projects and protocols.
With over 4 years of experience in investing and expanding on his knowledge, he is now determined to participate in and build on this exciting new paradigm in the blockchain-powered space, called decentralized finance.
During our talks getting to know each other it was clear from the beginning that Tom would be a good fit within the team. The energy he brings and the views he has on the developments within the blockchain and Decentralized Finance space are a great match with our vision. His eye for detail and thoroughness will be of great value in his new role as fund manager and project analyst. We welcome him wholeheartedly.
